Terms of Service
Last updated: April 30, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Hunt platform, the Hunt API, the Hunt Python SDK, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Hunt ("Hunt", "we", "our"). By creating a Hunt account, calling the Hunt API, or installing the Hunt SDK, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. The Service
Hunt provides an OpenAI-compatible execution layer for AI agents on Hunt-operated CPU infrastructure. Customers submit agent runs, which Hunt orchestrates (planning, retries, tool calls, state) against open-source language models. Pricing is per agent run, organized into three tiers (hunt-tiny, hunt-standard, hunt-pro), as published at huntcompute.ai/#pricing and api.huntcompute.ai/v1/pricing.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract with Hunt. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and API keys (hunt_sk_live_* and hunt_ak_live_*). You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use at filipe@huntcompute.ai.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right;
- generate content that sexually exploits minors;
- generate content intended to harass, defame, or incite violence against identifiable individuals or groups;
- attempt to reverse-engineer, probe, or disrupt the Service, including by submitting prompts designed to extract other customers' data or model weights;
- circumvent rate limits, billing, or quotas (including by sharing API keys across organizations to evade per-key throttling); or
- resell raw Hunt inference at a loss to mask abuse activity, or operate the Service on behalf of a sanctioned party.
4. Billing
Free tier accounts receive USD $1.00 in starter credits, sufficient for approximately fifty hunt-standard runs at typical token volumes. Once free credits are exhausted, additional runs require a payment method on file. Charges are calculated server-side per the canonical pricing in effect at the time of the run, and metered through Stripe. Retries internal to the Hunt harness are not billed. Tool-call tokens count within the included token allowance for the relevant tier.
Agent keys (hunt_ak_live_*) are postpaid and require a payment method on file before the first run. Pricing is denominated in U.S. dollars. Taxes, where applicable, are added to the invoice.
5. Customer Data
Hunt does not store the contents of your agent runs by default beyond what is necessary for billing, abuse prevention, and the run history visible in your dashboard. Run metadata (token counts, latency, model, cost) is retained for 30 days for billing and support. Prompt and completion bodies are not retained beyond the duration of the run unless you explicitly enable session memory. See the Privacy Policy for details.
6. Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to the prompts you submit and the completions Hunt returns. Hunt retains all rights to the Service, the Hunt SDK source, and Hunt-developed harness logic, subject to any open-source license under which a component is published (the SDK and harness are intended to be released under Apache 2.0; the operated infrastructure layer is proprietary).
7. Service Availability
Hunt currently operates on best-effort availability. We publish status at status.huntcompute.ai when available. Until a formal SLA is published in writing for your account, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
8. Refunds
Unused prepaid credits may be refunded within fourteen (14) days of purchase by emailing filipe@huntcompute.ai. Consumed credits and metered usage are non-refundable. See the Refund Policy.
9. Termination
You may close your account at any time from the dashboard. Hunt may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, abuse of the Service, or non-payment, with reasonable notice except where prompt action is required to protect Hunt or other customers.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hunt disclaims all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Hunt's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service in any twelve-month period shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts paid by you to Hunt in that period or (b) USD $100. Hunt is not liable for consequential, indirect, or punitive damages.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Once Hunt's parent entity is formally established as a U.S. limited liability company (currently in formation via Stripe Atlas), invoices and the entity of record will reflect the same. Until then, services are provided by the founding operator on equivalent terms.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
